In the true nature of art a defined, precise layer of refinement. Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A by Samuel Ross functionality and expression.
Constantly pushing new boundaries in terms of materials, fusion and aesthetic s Hublot has been loving Art for more than 10 years working closely with daring unconventional artists and designers to envision watches from new creative angles. The collaboration between Hublot and Ross began in 2020 in a three y ear engineering proces s leading to a n entirely new development, from case to crown, to dial, strap and bezel: the B ig B ang Tourbillon SR_A by Samuel Ross Just as with living materials, Ross ’s creativity is constantly shaping, reshaping, improving his own thoughts building on his first watch design to turn the watch case in to a gray monochrome outfit to be worn on of the three rubber straps ranging from vivid green to black or white. A new iteration to which he has brought some subtle yet insightfully rethought details.

Perfectly illustrating Hublot's watchmaking savoir-faire, this movement designed and produced within the Manufacture is distinguished by its automatic winding system with ball bearings, which offers a convenient 3-day power reserve. The design of the new caliber is equally innovative and features a micro-rotor on the dial side, as well as three sapphire bridges. The unique and highly technical layout emphasizes the spectacular aesthetics of the tourbillon and its contemporary design.
In 1980, Hublot revolutionized watchmaking by combining an 18K gold case with a rubber strap, creating for the first time a new type of watch. This daring alliance established the first expression of the “Art of Fusion” which has become the Manufacture’s sign of recognition. Since then, rubber has emerged as one of Hublot’s flagship materials and an emblem of its modern approach to watchmaking.
